FOLK EMROIDERY

Our FLEETWOOD FOLK RANGE is designed by us here in Australia, and handmade with love by a small cottage industry  of women in Thailand. We have been working with this family since the very early days of Fleetwood, and we are so proud of the relationship and mutual respect that has grown within our partnership. 

Our Folk embroidery is inspired by traditional Oaxacan Embroidery and Eastern European looming but with modern additions such as crochet panelling and blanket stitching....

These hand made pieces take great skill, patience and craftsmanship to create. From first design concept through to final product it takes many months of work back and forward with our team to get these just right.

Hand made from soft pure cotton or now our linen & linen/cotton blend, with intricate embroidery work and crochet trims, each piece truly is a work of art. These will wear beautifully in time and become that special heirloom piece. We hope you will love these and cherish them for years to come.

Each batch takes approximately 8 -12 weeks to be made, and the faves often sell out within hours each time we release them!

 For this reason you might see they are Sold Out from time to time - this just means that a new batch is in the making, we will always have more! Keep your eyes on our social media posts for updates on new batches.
